Key Account Manager

About the job

BuyerForesight is looking for multiple account managers to work with customers (primarily Enterprise accounts) and drive internal customer operations teams to consistently deliver value to customers through innovative and meaningful outbound marketing practices with consistent outcomes.

Position Overview

You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering value to clients through successful demand generation campaigns with quantified results and outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, client management, project management, a deep understanding of client requirements and outbound demand generation techniques.

Key responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication, proactive problem-solving, and nuanced understanding of customers’ businesses with attention to detail.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to strategize campaigns, review campaign performance, discuss progress, and address any concerns.
    • Proactively identify and anticipate client needs while being a subject matter expert and suggesting relevant campaign ideas and programs.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Oversee the development and execution of integrated demand generation campaigns across various channels.
    • Collaborate with respective internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution while delivering the desired results.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present campaign reports to clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
    • Conduct regular internal meetings and present findings from performances to build momentum and keep the team engaged.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within budget. This will involve collaborating with the Event Opps team and other teams to ensure that we’re executing seamlessly.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
    • Document all client communications and project deliverables.
  • Upsell:
    • Collaborate with Sales to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
    • Contribute to the development of proposals and presentations by sharing key findings and results from past projects.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field at a marketing agency or in-house marketing department.
  • Proven experience managing complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of outbound marketing principles and best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
